Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Oracle Technology Practice Director in our Emerging Platform Solutions Business Unit.


The Oracle Technology Practice is focused on designing and delivering business based solutions built on the Oracle Technology suite of products.  These solutions will be built primarily on the following platforms; Oracle SOA and BPM Suite, Oracle Webcenter, and Oracle HIE suite.  The Practice Director will be responsible for visioning and building this practice from its current foundation.  Moreover, the practice director will lead his/her team to define product solutions, work with business developers to train and provide sales support, build productive working relationships with the Oracle Technology product and sales teams, support marketing events, support overall project delivery and ensure client satisfaction.  This position will report to the General Manager of the Emerging Platform Solutions NBU.



In addition, this individual is responsible for identifying, obtaining support for, and bringing to market new “solutions of interest” that drive increased recognition of Perficient’s Oracle Technology practice within the market.  This may be done in collaboration with the Connected Solutions CWP or exclusively within Oracle.  A “solution of interest” is described as:



    Able to drive demand generation events
    Act as an entry platform to new accounts
    Further establish Perficient’s solution expertise within the Oracle sales team
    Market differentiator
    Provides tangible ROI



Required Capabilities and Experience


    At least 8 years of experience delivering comprehensive technology-based solutions
    At least 3 years of familiarity with Oracle Technology solutions
    Bachelors degree (advanced degree preferred)
    Strong understanding of the professional services industry, including technical services, systems integration, and strategic business solutions
    Experience delivering full lifecycle solution development engagements for enterprise initiatives with gross fees in excess of $1M
    Strong client relationship management skills
    Comfortable facilitating interactions and discussions with “C” level executives
    Experience managing the proposal process and pursuit teams in a consultative, solution based sales model
    Ability to present proposal solutions to all levels of client management
    Ability to articulate complex issues, thought leadership, and the business value of solutions
    Experience with accurate project estimation and planning
    Proven risk management, issue resolution and change control experience
    Proven management, leadership and mentoring skills
    Excellent oral and written communication skills
